Our first Hanukkah entry! Yaaaaay! And you handpainted too.

Yay Hanukkah! I was wondering if we'd get one!

The ship itself was just handpainted by trial and error from a (small and almost useless) reference picture. I used the lasso tool primarily, set to free lasso (because i have a tablet and can just drawn on the screen).

The stars are just a source image that I modified. The non-star reflections (IE on the left) were handpainted after the shape of the ship was completed, and the star reflections were made by cutting out a section of star background, lowering its opacity to about 20%, and then erasing the parts of it (IE in the areas with heavy lighting near the left, as darker areas have more reflection of the stars) using the brush tool set to "clear" and at about 75%.

the tree is just part of the site's holiday logo that I made a week or so ago.

Child Rosalina is totally handpainted from scratch. No fancy work here, all I did was just do it over and over again until it came out right. Same with luma, but that was easier. And the star bit and bow as well.

A lot of this was just me working on my freehand skills. The star field was the only part I didn't make entirely from scratch.

What do you mean by "get one"? Were you trying to trap "one"?

They eat (kosher) ham, it's muslims that don't. At least I think that's how it works now.

There is no such thing as kosher ham. I'm jewish I would know.

I am Jewish and eat kosher hot dogs but I would eat kosher ham. But I also eat cheeseburgers.

I suppose it depends on your level of religiosity.

Hot dogs are full of hog anus, unless you get the beef or chicken ones, which I guess could then be kosher.

I happen to find hog anus tasty, but that's just me.

My boyfriend just brought home the beef ones last night and we ate them for lunch and they were actually better the the regular.

Hog butt huh? I guess you know whats in pepperoni. Pleh.

Actually, there's a company called...I can't seem to remember at this moment...anyway, that sells THE BEST hot dogs ever. They're all Grade A pork and excellent when grilled. I'll try to remember the name.

I think there's just pure, unadulterated magic inside of pepperoni, because it's DELICIOUS.

I heard they use bull balls. But I still love it. They have to include magic somewhere and if that magic is bull testes it should be included in a lot more food.

BWAHAHAAA. Magic.

WWW and Newsies are my two favorite entries so far. I probably gotta go with Newsies because I'm also Jewish.

Kosher Hot Dogs are all beef, baby. Hebrew Nationals are delicious. Also it's not a matter of how religious you are, if you're less religious then you just don't keep kosher. Ham is pig, pig is unclean, therefore it's not kosher. Products that are Kosher _____ (where blank is a food that's normally made from pig) are generally all-beef, sometimes they're chicken.
