Ok, these are christmas cards... on the left side of each picture is the outside (front) of the card and the picture to the right is the inside of the card... and there's also an example of the mario and luigi card I printed out double sided

The reason the second one has upside down writing everywhere is because it's one of those horizontal cards the you fold at the top so when you open it you can see the writing properly... even though the layout is upside down... I hope I didn't break any rules or anything... and I hope you can understand how they're layed out, that's why i included and example pic...

Here's my last attempt before I go on a 6 week holiday. (So yeah, if you don't hear from me for 6 weeks, that's where I am!)

Here's my crudely edited version of the First Christmas! And yes it's very clashly, messy and crowded but it was fun to make!

Hehe Thanks, I've gone through like 10 differnet pages of paper to work our the lining for it so I can print them properly, I had to print one side then the other with the same piece of paper, cut them out and pop them in some envelopes now I just gotta wait util christmas day to give them to the twins I made thm for

OOPS! I forgot to say... for the mario and luigi one you may have to flip it upside down and stuff like that in photoshop (only on one of the sides) in order for it to print nicely... you'll hopefully work it out thought

I still think Zimz put effort into them. It was a Graphics contest and Zimz using a Graphics program to create his (I'm pretty sure you're a he, right? ) wonderful cards.

I'm not oppressing you. Free speech is allowed as long as it is not intended as insulting. Don't criticize others' work until you prove that you can do better yourself. That's how we roll here.

And now, for my entry!



I just got a bunch of brushes from Obsidiandawn.com and wanted to try them out. This was the perfect opportunity to do so! The grass and lighting was the most fun part of this to do. If you look closely, there's some mistletoe coming out of the pipe/gun/engine thingie Mario caries around in Super Mario Sunshine. I think it's worth mentioning that Peach's pose was the entire inspiration for this card. She was originally looking up at the sun. I thought the angle she was at would look strange, but I think it worked okay. Giving her outfit sleeves was a pain, though, so Mario is still wearing short sleeves. I regret that I couldn't fit Bowser in. He was just too big and I don't think I could have Christmas-ified him very well.
