Nintendorks Graphics Contest: Halloween [Results Announced!]

Happy October everyone!! In honor of this spooky month, I decided to start the 1st Annual Nintendork Graphics Contest. This contest is to test your creativity using a photo editing software such as Photoshop or Gimp. Below is a list of rules and an application. If you would like to participate, please fill out the form below. Once you fill out the application, POST IT HERE!!!

1. Since this contest is taking place in October, the theme of this contest is Halloween. All images MUST represent Halloween in some way, shape, form, or fashion. Any non-Halloween themed entries will be rejected.

2. You MUST use a Nintendo character somewhere in the image.

3. Entries can either be in any of the following categorizes:

1) Avatar (100px by 100px - 130px by 100px)
2) Signature (300px by 19px)
3) Wallpaper (1920px by 1200px)

4.You may NOT use the color black. I wanna see what you can do without it. This includes everything from backgrounds to text color to even the stroke colors

5. Have fun! I wanna see what you can do with this challenge

Here is my very modest (Crappy) entry for the competition. I don't really have experience with this stuff but I still did it because I thought it would be fun! There is NO black, only dark grey- I made sure of that .

So here is Frankentoad, The Mario Massacre Man and the Bride of Frankentoad! Mwah, ha, ha, ha!!! Oh, and a couple boos too.

Here is my entry.
Its based around the Super Paper Mario game, With Peach having a nightmare about it. ..Little did she know, it was a reality...
Drawn, then Scanned in, Edited, Ruffied, Scruffied, Added, Blurred, Scruffied (again), Layered, Overlayed, and then gradient..ed. Doesn't use /pure/ black. Honest!

Is it okay if the charater themselves have black? Like if the eye holes are black? Or do I have to go in and recolor them to a dark gray? And can I make multiple entries?

By all do you mean like Nina's, Sayde's, Kopple's and Petchy's?

I did three versions of the same pictures, I hope you enjoy. I'm not happy about it, particularly the pipe/building in the bakground...Oh well. I hand painted them in Photoshop based on some basic sketches I found, I did everything else, free hand. No shadowing because I am lazy. Happy Halloween. Oh, and you knew you would get away wth out Batman and the Joker involved.

Even Mario dresses up for Halloween....

Lol. As soon as I saw the contest I had all these great ideas. I was planning the two above plus Luigi as Robin, Waluigi as the Scarecrow, Wario as the Riddler, Peach as Harley Quinn, Daisy as Poison Ivy, and I really wanted a Goomba Commissioner Gordon, but, as usaul, I overestimated my abilities.
