Are You a Closet Nazi?

Ever since I first read through the twenty-five step program of Hitler’s National Socialist Party, I have wondered how that program would look if it were rewritten for modern day America, and the recently passed immigration law in Alabama finally gave me the incentive that I needed in order to take on that task. Here is the entire Nazi program fully updated and reworded to fit the current, political atmosphere of America:
1. We demand the recognition of Americans as a single people group rather than a conglomeration of immigrants.
2. We demand that American citizens have entitlements equal to those of other nations including welfare, unemployment, education and healthcare.
3. We demand that our lands be reserved for the maintenance of our own people and their posterity.
4. Only those who arived in America legally can become citizens. No illegal alien can become a citizen.
5. Those who are not citizens must live in America as foreigners and be prepared to provide proof of their immigration status whenever asked.
6. We oppose the appointment of men or women to posts by the mere favor of the party without regard to character and fitness.
7. We demand that the government shall ensure that every citizen shall have the possibility of living decently and earning a livelihood. If illegal aliens become a hindrance to that goal, then the government must remove them from our society.
8. The influx of immigrants must be prevented. If we do not stop this influx, then we will soon have more immigrants in America than Americans.
9. All citizens must possess equal rights and duties.
10. Every citizen is required to work, but no job which is offensive to the community is to be permitted.
Therefore we demand:
11. That all income that does not arise from work be abolished.
12. Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in blood and treasure, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as treason to the people.

13. We demand government oversight and regulation of all trust funds.
14. We demand profit-sharing in large industries. CEO's and other executive officers should be forbidden from using company profits to support their lavish lifestyles.
15. We demand a solution to the flaws of the social security system.
16. We demand the continued development of a strong middle class. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and must receive special attention from the government.
17. We demand economic reform in accordance with our national requirements, and the enactment of laws to confiscate without compensation any properties needed for the common benefit of society.
18. We demand strict regulation of the insurance policies and bank loans.
19. We demand that the Constitution be subservient to the common law of society.
20. The government must assume the responsibility of making college education affordable. The subject matter of all schools must be adapted to practical life, and good citizenship should be taught at all levels. Specially talented children of poor parents should be educated at the expense of the state.
21. The government has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor and by increasing physical fitness.
22. We demand a decrease in military expenditures in exchange for increased investments in citizen forces.
23. We demand that there be a legal campaign against those who propagate deliberate political lies and disseminate them through the press.
24. We demand freedom for all religious faiths in the state, insofar as they do not endanger its existence or offend the moral and ethical sense of the American people. We are conviced that a lasting recovery of our society can only come about through the Christian principle of individual sacrifice for the good of others.
25. In order to carry out this program, we demand an increase in the size and strength of the federal government.
