Also pretty horrible. Very similar to Ri's post, my best friend from primary (elementary) school had died due to an overdose on sleeping pills yesterday. I found out his cause of death a couple of hours ago. At least Arron's in a better place now.

I'm terribly sorry to hear of your school's loss, Ri. My heart goes out to you all.

I'm absolutely ecstatic, I just found out my class for next year/next week, and it's f-cking(EDIT: The swear auto-censor thing is broken?) awesome. Also slightly sad, though. Why must 13-year-old boys be so... insensitive.

I fall asleep to loud music. My husband works most Sundays, so the Sunday morning service at the Methodist church we usually go to is out of the question other than once a month. He really needed more than that, and a friend of ours invited him to a Pentecostal church that has evening services as well. (and services on Thursday nights, too.) They do tone down the music a bit when I'm there, and I go outside if I really have to get away from it, but at heart I'm still a Methodist. He's become a Pentecostal. I have a friend who takes me to my Methodist church on Sunday mornings, but we have become a two-church family. I like his church, and it is good for him, so I'm not going to tell him to stop going. And with the extra services, I can go to both churches with no problem. But I get the impression from some people that this should be bothering me more than it is.
