I just don't find it funny. I occasionally watch American Dad out of utter boredom, and occasionally it's funny. It's only really funny because it highlights the worst about America. xD And by "occasionally," I mean once every 6 months.

Occasionally they have an episode that is funny enough to watch, but most of the time it's too annoying to watch more than the first half of it.

Yea, I think that show is a bit much. I prefer Family Guy. But in my writing and research class, we had projects to decide who watched what and why they enjoyed it. My friend did hers on Family Guy and South Park. She found that South Park is enjoyed more by an immature audience, mostly young male children, I think it was ages 13-17, somewhere around there.Anyways, reason is because they are trying to seem more adult than they really are. Laughing at adult things that they don't understand or think is funny because is makes them all grown up. And obviously there are adults like that too. I just blame stupidity for that one. Teeheehee

I have seen one or two episodes that I was able to watch. The only reason I saw em was because of my ex. He was a stupid one, in fact I still stand by that. Very Happy

The biggest joke about South Park's "warning" list at the beginning about who it may be inappropriate for that ends with "Just about everybody" is that it isn't a joke.

Yeah sorry to be taking this train back on subject but...
yeah I think the media has to do something with the influence on children not necessarily just television, but the whole media in general. Like how, us girls are supposed to be stick thin, have extremely large breasts, and look like a barbie doll for that matter. These horrible media messages are the reason for the young pregnancies and other 'bad' behaviors.

I personally find it disgusting for an 18 year old to be dating a 12 year old. That's downright stupid, you know bad things are going to happen. They are just looking for sex most of the time because they're so desperate. Believe me I know. My brother (17 years) dated a 12 year old. I heard they had sex. The girl came to her senses and broke up with him because he was too old for her. But don't you think that was a little late? I'm starting to notice that more and more young girls are dating older and older guys, I find this mindbogglingly disturbing.

Anyways, Sayde, about that girl, I feel bad for her. She is totally being taken advantaged of. I know that he doesn't love her, he was just totally desperate, that's why he dated her in the first place. And he'll probably dump her when/if some other older girl becomes interested in him. I have the same morals with you Sayde, and I'm glad to hear that there's decent guys out there agreeing with me on this matter.

You know... skimming through this again, it makes me realize; This is why I can not get a date with a decent guy my age.
There aren't any.
They were all spoiled as pre-teens, thinking sex is easy and cheap and free, and that if you kiss a girl for 10 minutes, you can 'get some'.

My morals are at least ten years older than I, which explains why I find older males so much more sensible and approachable.
True, there are a few males who were raised like I was, but they are few, far between, and already attached to nice girls, are homosexual, or just unavailable in some way; not dating, too emotionally torn-up, ect.

Anyway... my troubles aside, anyone who went to my middle school did not have the fornication issue. They used the shock method on us in sex-ed. Showed us slides of diseased sexual organs.
That kept everyone very abstinent...

I'm one of those guys that, I like to think, was raised pretty well that Liros was talking about. I agree, there are a lot of guys that just are not particularly sensible, but the same goes for girls. I'm not contradicting her, I'm just adding my experience.

It's kinda sad to me, who knows what's in their minds, or how are they growing up. It may sure be their families problem, maybe they just don't feel family love or just do what their parents do, or maybe they don't have family at all. I dunno, it's gross and sad....
