[PS3/360]Darksiders

Anyone playing this game? It is pretty neat. It is parts of many games like Zelda, God of War and some character designs similar to World of Warcraft. I haven't put much time into it, but the game seems solid so far. I got it on sale for $40 and it came with a code to get Red Faction Guerrilla for $5. Anyway, you are War, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I could go on, but there or some early spoilers I don't want to give away.

It is pretty cool and worth the $40 cover charge to get in the door.

Just chiming in to say that this game is fantastic. Some of the fights get pretty tough, but once you learn the patterns of the enemies it becomes easier. It really isn't forgiving if you mash buttons. I did a boss fight that really reminded me of Zelda. You had to throw a bomb onto the baddie, then throw your boomerang through fire and then to the bomb to make it explode.

This is the best conglomerate game I have played in a long time.

Huh, it does sound a lot like LoZ.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like it is a reskinned game. Like Dante's Inferno seems like a reskinned God of War. It feels more like it is paying homage to it in a respectful way. Also, you get a horse to ride on and fight from. A HORSE!

DEFINITELY sounds like LoZ.

I finally got the horse. It is awesome! I now have to kill 150 guys while on horseback. This game is great.
