First or third person standard?
RPG: Third or First Person?

Which would you prefer? Examples are as follows.
Third:
"Knowing he was in trouble, Brett ran for the nearest exit."
First:
"Knowing I was in trouble, I ran for the nearest exit."
Third:
"Knowing he was in trouble, Brett ran for the nearest exit."
First:
"Knowing I was in trouble, I ran for the nearest exit."

I voted for third person, but it wouldn't bother me either way.
