Re: Amity (RPG)
She had better luck today. She found a guard, and followed him back to his headquarters, but he still refused to believe that she had stolen battle plans, and turned her away without hearing her out.
So she decided to try to break in that night and speak with whoever was in charge when they came in the next morning. She wore as close to nothing as she could get away with, so that whoever encountered her could see immediately that she was unarmed and had stolen nothing.

Re: Amity (RPG)
She successfully broke into the HQ at about 4 AM, and sat down to wait in the hall. The next morning one of the guards found her.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?!" he demanded.
"My name is Andara. I have been trying to tell someone for the past two days that there is an army heading this direction. I broke into the commander's tent, and stole battle plans. Now I hope I have proven that I am actually capable of doing what I said I did, and have found someone who might be interested in the information I have?"
The guard nodded. "Wait here, and I will see what the princess wishes me to do with you. Be warned; if you are a spy you will not enjoy it!"

Re: Amity (RPG)
The sun peeked over the horizon. Scios rolled out from a space under the boulder, lifting the cover he secured to protect him from any loose sand that may have blown in the wind. Gathering his stuff, he set off yet again into the direction of Vivida.
About an hour later, Scios made out a thin dark line across the landscape. Realizing this was a Tram rail, he began to run towards the tracks.
He reached the heavy metal structure and climbed on it. He could never catch the tram. "Unless..." Scios thought. He rummaged through his bag and found a small electronic wiring device. All he would have to do is find a maintenance box that would allow him to track and slow down the tram long enough for him to board. He glared down the tracks that seemed endless, merging into the horizon. "Well... I've got to start somewhere."
Not too long after, he found a maintenance box. It was a small, dense box integrated into the side of a support column for the tram. He pried off the cover, as the hinges had been rusted. The display was very basic, with dim led lights to show status and a simple lcd display to present the location. Scios popped off the second cover, and looked at the electronics within. He wasn't a professional at electronics, as he was a mechanic, but he had worked with a few computer systems with hovercraft so he hoped he could fiddle with this. All he needed to do was trick the system into thinking that this section of tracks were damaged, or even better- that it was steep decline so that the brakes would be applied without fully stopping the tram. He attempted to do the latter.

Scios huffed in dissapointment, he seemed to fail at everything he did. He would have to totally stop the tram by adjusting it to think it was damaged.

Scios realized there would be no stopping the tram, so he bitterly closed the box and continued walking. He thought maybe he could flag it down. Otherwise he would be forced to find another maintenance box or walk.

Andara sat and waited. And waited. And waited some more. She began to wonder if anybody even remembered that she was there. She remembered a bathroom farther down the hall, and made use of it. Then she came back and waited some more.
Finally she went back to the bathroom, found a paper towel, and wrote a note:
I have been waiting here since early morning. It is now almost sunset. I haven't eaten anything yet. I'm hungry. I hope those battle plans I gave you are helpful, but I need to get some dinner. And if you are as slow to do anything about them as you were to come do something about me, I'm not sure I want to be here when the army gets here. I'll see you later.
She signed it with her personal mark, left it out in plain sight, and headed out to find something to eat. After a simple dinner she bought several loaves of bread and a couple wheels of cheese, made sure her canteens were full, and headed out of the city.

Re: Amity (RPG)
She had spent too much on supplies to get to Vermillion.
Maybe she could sneak aboard

She waited until the last call for boarding, and then got into the middle of a large group that was all getting on at the same time. As she had hoped, the conductor assumed that she was with them and didn't ask to see her ticket. She headed for a seat neat the emergency exit, just in case the difference between the head count and ticket count was discovered too quickly.
