I left out the mouth on purpose. It looks cooler without.

yeah, the second one also has much better proportions. you might try a small tuft of fur on the chest, just as a suggestion.

Hmm, not sure what I think of the double-ear thing. The grey part should be the inside of the ear, but it's sticking out at the top and looks a little strange. But that's just my opinion. It's be cool if you de-emphasized the whiskers on the sides a bit and emphasized the mohawk a smidge more. I think the tuft of hair on the chest should probably be the same color as his regular fur, but then again, that's just IMO. He's evolved a lot since the first render.

I'm going to be weird and vote for the third one.

The music in the Sonic universe comes in many forms. Not every game has an official album, not every album was meant for a specific or any game for that matter, and certainly not every remix covers both of them. Hence the reason for the three sections below.
