Changes to the Chatbox

Freenode has changed their chatbox layout, and it is no longer Java. Some of you may have noticed that earlier the chatbox would simply fail to start; this was because the Java chatbox had been disabled. The new box has a few new features:

• reCaptcha, to protect against spambots (I personally don't much care for it, but I assume that Freenode put it in place because they were having problems with spammers)
  
• Login and name choice: You can now choose what name you enter to box with, and you can also log in by clicking the "Auth to Services" checkbox and filling out the fields that appear below. This allows you to log in with your account, but enter with any name you might like
  
• Personal Chatbox Customization: If you click the small IRL logo in the top left corner of the box and hit options (while logged in) you can specify personal preferences such as color and setup that will be saved for next time you log in with the same account. A few of the options at this point seem to not save correctly, though I assume they shall be fixed sometime soon.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up. Again, these changes were made by Freenode, not NI.

Now if only Failnode would let me use my own damn name ><

In addition, I have no plans to format the QDB quotes any differently despite the new chatbox look.
