Oh yay..
I'm getting my tonsals out at the end of june.. great way to spend a holiday sitting on the sofa eating ice cream all day, taking painkillers and antibiotics.. the way i reaally want to spend my holidays...

It beats the way my son has to spend them... The hospital he's in has school year round, and he's probably going to be there most of the summer.

He's ok, The regular school system couldn't handle his special needs, and he wasn't cooperating with his Individualized Education Plan. It finally got so bad that they had to send him there.
Of course, if he didn't have an IEP, the courts would have been involved.

Thats a real shame. I have an IEP myself and my family and I always had trouble with the school District. they never seemed to do their job right until due process was involved.
It is really sad When school officials don't give you the support that you need to have a good education. I wish you guys luck and I hope everything goes smoothly for now on.

It wasn't the school officials. They were trying to give him the support he needed. He just didn't want to cooperate until it was too late. It was the school officials that found this placement instead of getting the courts involved.
They were even sending a taxi every day so he could only have half days of school. I got to be good friends with the taxi drivers when I had to go out and say "He's not coming again"
