Surgery

Post by Poison_Ivy on June 9th 2011, 10:48 pm

I will be having surgery on June 20. I will be getting my Achilles tendon released because the tendon is so contracted and I am so tight that it makes it difficult to plant my right heel flat on the ground. I will be in a cast for six weeks and practically bed bound. I will need to go through intense physical therapy so that I can learn to walk all over again.

I am really excited about having the surgery done though because it will help me with my balance and I can be more independent Cheer Vampy Will be my care taker which scares me cause she can do any type of torture she pleases and I have no control over the situation. Rapist I will eat the scrapes off Vampy's plate and use a pee pad.... I CAN HARDLY CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT!!!!!!

That sucks that you'll be in bed for like 6 weeks and have to learn to walk again, but it's worth it I guess!

At least it won't be one of those hospital beds for 6 weeks. (Remembering the silly bed folding me into a pretzel every half hour or so, then setting off alarms when I unfolded myself.)

Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery.

Good luck with the operation (Oh, just realised it's today, idk what time zone you're in though, so it might not be today for you... *confuses self*)
I'm having something similar, but on both my femurs (No idea what they're doing, all I know is it's on my femurs and I won't be able to walk xD)
